LexaVox

Account Deletion

How Account Deletion Works

LexaVox uses anonymous Firebase authentication. You do not create a username/password account, but your app install can still be associated with an anonymous identifier (UID) used for optional cloud features.

This page explains how to delete local app data and request deletion of any associated cloud data.

Option 1: Delete Local Data on Device

To remove local app data from your device immediately, uninstall LexaVox.

  • Deletes locally stored scans, documents, history, and bookmarks
  • Removes offline language packs and app settings
  • Clears data stored in the app sandbox on your device

Option 2: Request Cloud Account/Data Deletion

If you used cloud features (for example cloud OCR, translation, speech, or AI), request deletion of your anonymous Firebase profile and related cloud processing records.

Email: privacy@lexavox.com
Subject: Request Account Deletion

Please include:

  • A statement requesting deletion of your LexaVox anonymous account and associated cloud data
  • Any identifying details that help us locate records (for example date range of use, device model, or prior contact email)

What We Delete

  • Anonymous Firebase UID and related backend account records
  • Associated cloud processing logs and temporary processing data
  • Related support-side deletion request metadata after request completion windows expire

What May Be Retained

  • Data that only exists on your device until you uninstall the app
  • Aggregated, de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably identify an individual user
  • Records we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance obligations

Deletion Timeline

We process account/data deletion requests and confirm completion within 30 days.
